Rye KWS Fidalgor

Stability and Harvest Purity

When working with winter rye, the biggest nightmare is ergot. Extra cleaning costs and grain rejection due to mycotoxins are headaches no farmer needs. In this regard, KWS Fidaligor from the German experts at KWS stands out as one of the most reliable tools available.

Field Performance and Handling

A few key characteristics really define the operational experience with this hybrid:

• High Lodging Resistance. This isn't just a brochure statistic; it’s a tangible advantage during harvest. Even after heavy rains and strong winds during grain filling, the stalks stay upright. The combine moves through the field smoothly, minimizing losses and saving precious time that would otherwise be spent dealing with flattened crops.
• Ergot Resistance. This is the true trump card from KWS Saat. The genetic resistance built into this variety allows you to breathe easier, especially during seasons with wet springs and cool summers, when the risk of infection peaks.

Harvest Expectations

To put it bluntly, choosing this hybrid is a move toward peace of mind. It follows standard agronomic protocols without demanding excessive attention, yet it delivers a predictable and solid result. The stalk height is well-balanced, making residue management easier and speeding up the threshing process. KWS Fidaligor is the go-to choice for those running intensive production cycles who need clean, high-grade grain that meets elevator standards without any quality deductions.
