The fig-peach variety "Planetnaya Zvezda" is a late-ripening variety with high yield and excellent storage capabilities. The tree grows quickly, fruits are distributed evenly along the branches, and pruning is rarely needed, which reduces production costs. Flowering occurs in mid-September, and fruits reach maturity approximately 47 days after the start of flowering.
The fruits have a flat shape and a bright red color covering almost the entire surface. The diameter of the fruits is about 80 mm, the average weight is 150 g, and individual specimens can reach up to 200 g. The flesh is yellow, dense, crisp, and very sweet; there is no sourness detected. The skin is smooth, without humps or cracks, with an intense dark red hue.
The variety is distinguished by its cold and spring frost resistance, as well as good shelf life after harvest: the fruits maintain their density both in the garden and during transportation. Thanks to these characteristics, the fig-peach "Planetnaya Zvezda" is a promising choice for commercial cultivation and long-term storage.
