Description 70-20-20
The 70-20-20 clonal rootstock is designed for grafting apple trees and features vigorous growth, allowing trees to reach uniform size quickly. With high rooting rates (4.0–4.5 points), cuttings easily sprout, and a yield of 80-100 thousand cuttings/hectare is achieved, ensuring a stable harvest in large-scale cultivation.

The rootstock has good winter hardiness of the root system – it withstands temperatures down to –16 °C, making it suitable for regions with harsh winters. Drought resistance is high, and shoots are tinted with anthocyanin shades, indicating good metabolic state of the plant.

Shoot formation ability is average, but fruiting begins as early as 4-5 years after grafting. Tree height exceeds 4 m, and mother bushes are tall, making the rootstock suitable for creating decorative alleys and garden ensembles with apple trees.
