Rootstock GI 1481

Professional choice for intensive orcharding

Selecting the right rootstock is the foundation of long-term profitability in horticulture. The GI 1481, developed by Consortium Deutscher Baumschulen, is a specialized German rootstock designed for growers who prioritize tree longevity, disease resistance, and consistent fruit quality. This rootstock provides the reliability needed for high-density production models.

Why choose GI 1481?

• High Disease Resistance: One of the most significant challenges in commercial orchards is soil-borne pathogens. GI 1481 offers robust resistance, minimizing the risk of infection and reducing the need for intensive chemical soil treatments.
• German Breeding Standards: As a product of Consortium Deutscher Baumschulen, GI 1481 meets strict quality benchmarks. Growers can rely on excellent uniformity, which simplifies canopy management and pruning operations across the entire orchard block.
• Superior Compatibility: This rootstock is compatible with a wide range of popular industrial varieties, ensuring excellent graft union strength and vigorous development during the establishment phase.

In practical farm scenarios, GI 1481 is the preferred choice for orchards where site conditions demand a high level of plant immunity. By choosing this rootstock, agronomists can successfully mitigate risks associated with root-related diseases and ensure that trees reach their full production potential quickly. Investing in material from Consortium Deutscher Baumschulen is an investment in the long-term stability and profitability of the horticultural business.
