Description YULA
Turnip 'Yula' is a white-fleshed root crop variety intended for fresh consumption. This early-maturing variety is distinguished by its tender and juicy flesh, as well as its small tuber size, which makes it easy to grow even on limited plots. Harvest can be obtained as early as 40–60 days after germination, allowing for use shortly after planting.

For successful cultivation of turnip 'Yula', it is recommended to sow seeds in mid-April when soil temperature is 5 °C. Sowing depth should be 0.5–1 cm, with a distance between plants of 7–15 cm, and row spacing of 15–20 cm. The plant is sensitive to moisture deficiency, therefore requiring regular watering and soil loosening to ensure optimal growth conditions. After thinning, it is useful to fertilize the turnip with ammonium nitrate and superphosphate at a dosage of 10 g per square meter of each fertilizer.

Special attention when growing turnip 'Yula' should be paid to crop rotation. It is not recommended to sow turnips in the same place for two years in a row, and also avoid predecessors from the mustard family, such as radish, cabbage, and turnip. This helps prevent the spread of common diseases and pests, ensuring healthy growth and a good harvest.
