The turnip variety «Orbita» is a late-maturing culture with round white roots weighing from 120 to 160 grams. The turnip flesh is white, juicy and tender, with excellent taste qualities. The plant forms a semi-erect rosette of leaves, and the period from seedling emergence to technological maturity is 80-85 days. The yield of the variety reaches 2.6-2.9 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity with proper care.

The turnip «Orbita» is distinguished by frost resistance and moisture-lovingness, preferring moderately moist, non-acidic soils with high relative air humidity. To obtain quality roots, regular watering, timely thinning of seedlings, and loosening of interrows are required. Sowing is recommended in two stages: at the end of April – beginning of May for an early crop and at the beginning of July for winter storage. Harvest collection should be carried out before the onset of frosts.

This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open and closed ground. Due to good storage qualities and taste qualities, the turnip «Orbita» is recommended for fresh consumption in summer and autumn-winter periods, as well as for winter storage, which allows using it for a long time.
