Late-maturing variety, obtained at VNIILUPIN by crossing line 2-4-56 and the variety Bredtorp. Author A.I. Astakhov. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Central and Central Chernozem regions in 1995.
Medium-height, medium-spreading bush. Growing shoots are slender, slightly curved, green, hairy. Buds are weakly hairy, slightly colored.
Three-lobed leaf, medium size, dark green, leathery, wrinkled, with anthocyanin coloration on tips of growing shoots. Leaf lobes have medium indentations, teeth are blunt.
Flowers of medium size, bright reddish-purple. Inflorescence medium or long (6-11 flowers).
Berries large (2.0 g), round, one-dimensional, shiny, black, dry detachable, sweet flavor (4.9 points), strong aroma, universal use. Chemical composition: total sugars — 8.2%, titratable acidity — 2.3%, ascorbic acid — 210.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy variety, flowers resistant to spring frosts, self-fertile, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, anthracnose, bud mite, weakly infested by aphids, average yield 8.0 t/ha (1.2 kg/plant), maximum — 13.0 t/ha (2 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: high taste and market qualities of berries, self-fertility, resistance to drought and spring frosts.
Disadvantages of the variety: moderate resistance of young plants to powdery mildew.
