Driscoll's «DrisRaspTen»: High-Yield Performance for Professional Growers

Developed by the expert team at Driscoll's (USA) — including Carlos D. Fear and Brian K. Hamilton — the «DrisRaspTen» hybrid is engineered to meet the demands of commercial berry farming. With a consistent yield potential of 4–6 kg per plant and a remontant (double-fruiting) cycle, this variety is a strategic asset for operations looking to maximize output.

Operational Advantages and Field Application

Targeted at growers who balance fresh market sales with processing, this variety produces conical berries weighing 5–7 grams with a distinctively sweet flavor profile.

• Efficiency in Harvesting: The canes are characterized by low thorniness, which directly improves harvesting speed and reduces damage to fruit during the picking process.
• Processing Versatility: Due to the fruit's structural integrity, «DrisRaspTen» is an excellent candidate for both fresh wholesale and industrial freezing or puree production.
• Management: With a moderate maintenance requirement, the variety is highly responsive to standard commercial fertigation and plant protection programs.

Logistics planning is key: with a shelf life of 3–5 days, this variety fits perfectly into a fast-track supply chain, delivering premium quality to the consumer. For farming enterprises aiming for predictable performance and high aesthetic value of the final product, «DrisRaspTen» offers a robust, American-bred solution designed for the modern agricultural landscape.
