BRYANSKAYA

Bryanskaya remontant raspberry is a large-fruited variety with high market quality and abundant fruiting. Bushes are powerful and tall, reaching a height of 1.5-2 meters, while canes do not spread sideways and do not require staking. Soft green thorns are present on the canes in small quantities, and fruit-bearing branches grow in pairs from each node of the shoot. Being a remontant variety, it allows harvesting in two waves: the first in late summer, the second in early autumn, from early August until the first autumn frosts. The berries of Bryanskaya are large, elongated-conical in shape, with homogeneous drupelets and a light red color with a slight sheen. Average berry weight is 7-9 grams, maximum up to 11 grams, length reaching about 3 cm. The flesh is firm, ensuring good preservation of berries for several days. The taste is acid-sweet, delicate, with a barely perceptible acidity, making the raspberry suitable for both fresh consumption and all types of processing. Yield of the variety is high — from one bush you can collect from 2.5 to 3.5 kg of berries, which corresponds to approximately 18-20 tons per hectare. Potential yield is realized at 70-90% before autumn frosts. Planting and care for Bryanskaya raspberry do not require special skills, saplings easily take root and grow quickly. For optimal fruiting, pruning of canes by 5-10 cm is recommended.
