Komsomolskaya Pravda

The raspberry variety "Komsomolskaya Pravda" is an early-maturing variety with fruiting starting as early as July 20 and lasting until September. Bushes are of medium height, powerful and drooping, with medium shoot productivity. Two-year-old stems are light brown, straight, with slight thorniness in the lower part, while one-year-old shoots have a medium-purple hue with a waxy coating and a minimal number of soft thorns. Leaves are of medium size, green with a slight gloss, weakly crinkled, and have sharp teeth along the edge, without hairiness.

The berries of this variety have a trapezoidal shape, are red with a bright gloss and weak hairiness. The average berry mass is about 5.2 grams. The flesh is tender, sour-sweet with a pronounced aroma. Fruiting occurs mainly on the current year's shoots. The berries contain about 9.7% dry matter, 6.2% sugars, 1.1% acids, and 43 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams. The tasting score of fresh berries reaches 4.5 points, indicating high taste quality.

The variety is characterized by medium resistance to leaf spots and didymella, with minimal damage. The yield of the variety is about 22 tons per hectare, making it attractive for cultivation in the Central region. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, the raspberry "Komsomolskaya Pravda" is suitable for universal use, including fresh consumption and processing.
