The 'Phenomen' raspberry variety is a medium-early, high-yielding cultivar developed in Ukraine in 1991 by breeder Gonchar G.K. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse conditions, including drought and frost, as well as low maintenance requirements. The bushes are strong, spreading, reaching up to 2.5 meters in height, with weak thorn coverage, which facilitates harvesting. Due to its tree-like structure, the variety is well-suited for industrial cultivation and successfully adapts to all climatic zones of Ukraine.
The fruiting period of 'Phenomen' raspberry begins in the first or second decade of June and continues until the end of July, ensuring an extended harvest window. The berries are large, weighing from 6 to 12 grams, with a proper conical shape, dense structure, and rich matte red color. The flesh is tender, juicy, and sweet, making this variety versatile for both fresh consumption and processing. The high taste and commercial qualities of the berries are combined with good transportability.
The yield per bush reaches 6-8 kg per season, making 'Phenomen' one of the most popular raspberry varieties. Due to its resistance to major diseases and adaptability to various climatic conditions, this variety is favored by gardeners and farmers seeking a stable and high-quality harvest.
