HOSTINE

Hostine rapeseed is a medium-maturing hybrid selection by KWS, with high yield potential up to 60 t/ha and high oil content. This variety is characterized by rapid autumn development and early spring regrowth, ensuring effective use of the vegetation period. Its medium-early flowering and maturing make it an optimal choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, such as phomopsis (due to the presence of the RLM7 gene), alternaria, and turnip yellow vein virus (TuYV). Additionally, Hostine shows high winter hardiness and resistance to pod cracking and lodging, significantly reducing yield losses and improving seed quality. Drought tolerance in this variety is at a medium level, allowing it to thrive under unstable climatic conditions.

The cultivation technology for Hostine rapeseed is conventional, with recommended sowing dates being medium and late. The optimal seeding rate is 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare. Due to its high adaptability and resistance to adverse factors, this hybrid is suitable for organic farming and cultivation under challenging agro-climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields.
