LG Antigua

LG Antigua rapeseed is a medium-maturing winter hybrid selection by Limagrain, with a high yield potential up to 70 centners/ha. This erucic acid-free variety features high oil content and is adapted to various growing conditions, making it a versatile choice for the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. Seeds are supplied in packages of 1.5 million and belong to the elite class.

The LG Antigua hybrid is characterized by high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, confirmed by scores of 9 points in both categories. It is well-suited for late sowing dates and demonstrates resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including phoma (RLM7), TuYV, and cylindrical sporium. Thanks to these qualities, the plant maintains health and productivity even under challenging climatic conditions.

The recommended seeding rate is 350,000 to 450,000 plants per hectare, ensuring optimal development and maximum yield. Moreover, the glucosinolate content in LG Antigua seeds does not exceed 15 mmol/g, positively affecting product quality. This hybrid combines the best agronomic traits, enabling farmers to achieve stable and high yields.
