KWS MIKADOS

Winter rapeseed KWS MIKADOS is a medium-maturing hybrid developed by the breeding company KWS. It is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 60 centners per hectare, as well as high oil content, making it attractive for oilseed production. The hybrid exhibits moderate autumn and spring development, medium flowering time, and efficient nitrogen utilization, which contributes to stable and high yields under various soil-climatic conditions.

One of the key features of KWS MIKADOS rapeseed is its high winter hardiness, ensuring reliable winter survival even in challenging climatic zones. The hybrid is completely resistant to phoma (RLMs) and tolerant to diseases such as alternaria, verticillium, and sclerotinia. Additionally, it is resistant to pod cracking, which is especially important for delayed harvest, and shows tolerance to turnip yellow virus (TuYV).

KWS MIKADOS rapeseed is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. The recommended seeding rate is 450-500 thousand seeds per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, making it a versatile and reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality oilseed yields.
