Heracles

The winter rapeseed hybrid Heracles is a high-yielding variety with exceptional cold resistance and resistance to spring frosts, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polесье. Due to its dynamic autumn development, this hybrid is suitable for late sowing, ensuring stable growth and plant development even under adverse conditions. The recommended sowing rate ranges from 450,000 to 550,000 seeds per hectare, depending on the sowing date.

Heracles is distinguished by its high oil content in seeds, making it attractive for producing high-quality rapeseed oil. The hybrid possesses a strong maternal line inherited from hybrids Ator and Parcurs, contributing to its high yield, reaching up to 60 centners per hectare under optimal conditions. In the first year of commercial planting, the yield is approximately 43 centners per hectare.

Special attention is given to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and adverse factors. Heracles contains the Rlm7 gene, providing resistance to phoma, as well as genetic protection against the turnip yellows virus TuYV. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to verticillium wilt, lodging, and pod cracking, which helps maintain yield and quality. All these characteristics make Heracles an ideal choice for farms aiming for a stable and high-quality rapeseed harvest.
