Rapeseed Cheremosh

Reliability and Local Adaptation

"Cheremosh" winter rapeseed is a strategic choice for farmers who prioritize proven performance and local adaptation. Developed by the Ivano-Frankivsk IAPV UAAN, this variety is tailored to the specific climatic challenges of the region, ensuring robust winter survival and consistent productivity.

Field Management and Seeding Density

To fully realize the yield potential of 30–40 dt/ha, strict adherence to seeding rates is required. The recommended density is 600,000 to 700,000 seeds per hectare. This spacing prevents overcrowding, minimizes lodging risks, and allows the crop to establish a deep, resilient root collar before entering the dormant phase.

Practical Scenarios for Farm Operations

• Balanced Economics: As a product of domestic selection, "Cheremosh" allows for optimized input costs. It is an excellent fit for farms focusing on reliable returns without the overhead of high-priced first-generation hybrids.
• Risk Mitigation: The variety's inherent winter hardiness makes it a reliable asset for areas prone to erratic snow cover and temperature fluctuations during late winter months.
• Agronomic Strategy: "Cheremosh" responds predictably to standard nitrogen-based spring fertilization programs. It is an ideal tool for balanced crop rotation schedules, offering steady performance that is easily managed by standard field equipment.

Choosing "Cheremosh" means choosing a stable, low-risk approach to winter rapeseed cultivation, ensuring your fields remain productive throughout the seasons.
