LG Arnold

LG Arnold rapeseed seeds are a medium-early non-erucic hybrid selection by Limagrain, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. This variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts, ensuring reliable vegetation recovery in spring. LG Arnold rapeseed is suitable for early and medium-late sowing dates, has a medium-late flowering onset, and exhibits high drought tolerance, making it versatile and adaptable to various growing conditions.

One of the key features of this variety is its high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, such as verticillium wilt, phomopsis, and cylindrosporiosis, as well as genetic resistance to turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV). Additionally, LG Arnold shows resistance to pod splitting, cabbage flea beetle, and bacterial disease, significantly reducing yield losses and improving product quality. The variety is characterized by low requirements for growth regulators, simplifying agronomic practices and reducing cultivation costs.

LG Arnold has a high yield potential of up to 70 centners per hectare and high oil content in seeds, reaching 47.4–49.3%, as well as a significant protein level (16.6–17.8%). The recommended seeding rate is 350–450 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal planting density and maximum productivity. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this variety is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality rapeseed harvest.
