Radish Zarnitsa

ZARNITSA radish variety is a mid-season, high-yield variety of Siberian selection, characterized by stable and simultaneous harvest yield. The root crops of this variety have an attractive two-color hue — bright red with a neat white tip, making them particularly valuable for decorative table arrangement. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, leaves are inverted egg-shaped, yellowish-green in color, with petioles stained with a strong anthocyanic shade. The root crops are round, with a flat head, weighing 20–30 grams and 3–4 cm in diameter. The flesh is white, tender, juicy and semi-spicy, without bitterness, ensuring excellent taste qualities.

The ZARNITSA variety is characterized by high yield — from 1.8 to 2.2 kg per square meter, which significantly exceeds the indicators of many other varieties. Radish grows well on any light and medium soils, especially on sunny and well-watered areas. For obtaining a quality harvest, early spring sowing is recommended at a depth of about 1.5 cm, uniform watering throughout the entire vegetation period, and timely thinning of plants in the initial growth period. The variety is resistant to flowering, which allows to avoid premature flowering and preserve the commercial appearance of root crops.

ZARNITSA is an excellent choice for those who value not only the taste qualities of radish, but also its decorative properties. Thanks to the beautiful red-white color and tender flesh, this variety will meet the requirements even of the most discerning chefs and become a decoration for any table. It is suitable for growing in all regions, providing a stable and quality harvest while observing agronomic recommendations.
