Nadir

The Nadir eggplant variety is an early-maturing type belonging to the 'Almaz' group, reaching technical maturity 60-70 days after transplanting seedlings. Plants of this variety are compact, 45-60 cm tall, with simultaneous branching and compact fruit placement, primarily in the lower part of the bush. Fruits are cylindrical, 15-18 cm long and 3-6 cm in diameter, weighing 150-200 grams. Their skin is smooth and glossy, deep purple in color, while the flesh is light, tender, yet firm, with no bitterness, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The Nadir variety has high yield, producing 4.5-6 kg per square meter, equivalent to 45-70 tons per hectare with proper care. Regular harvesting every 5-7 days extends the vegetative period and increases overall yield. For maximum productivity, eggplants require maintaining soil moisture at no less than 75% of total water capacity during the period from planting to fruit set, as well as proper soil warming achieved through timely inter-row cultivation and ensuring warmth. The Nadir variety is grown through seedlings, sown in special trays and transplanted into open ground at 60-70 days old, when the plant has at least 5-7 leaves. Recommended planting scheme depends on irrigation method: 70x30 cm for overhead irrigation, 90+50x25-30 cm for drip irrigation. Adhering to these agronomic practices ensures high-quality, marketable fruits with high average weight and excellent taste characteristics.
