Imperial Radish is a high-quality hybrid of American origin, developed by Heritage Vegetable Seeds (HVS) for cultivation throughout Europe. This variety is characterized by rapid and uniform germination, as well as resistance to lower temperatures compared to other hybrids, allowing for earlier harvests than competitors. Imperial Radish is not demanding in terms of lighting, which facilitates its cultivation under various climatic conditions.

Radish fruits are spherical with a diameter of up to 5 cm and a weight of 25 to 30 grams. They feature a rich crimson color and a white, juicy flesh with a gently spicy and pleasant taste. The medium-sized foliage is convenient for tying into bunches with minimal labor. Radish has a long storage period and good transportability, preserving its marketable qualities over time.

Imperial Radish is widely used fresh – for slicing, salads and okroshka, as well as for preparing appetizers and sandwiches. Due to its taste qualities and nutritional value, it is one of the first spring vegetables, rich in fiber and vitamins. Sowing is recommended in late April – early May, as well as in July, with a sowing depth of about 1 cm and a planting scheme of 5-7 per 15 cm. The yield is approximately 3.2-3.4 kg per square meter.
