Picnic

Red radish of the Picnic variety is an early-maturing cylindrical root, reaching technical maturity 20-25 days after germination. The roots are 4-5 cm long and about 2 cm in diameter, with a smooth, even surface of bright raspberry color and a white tip. The average weight of one root is 20-35 grams. The radish flesh is white, dense, and juicy, providing excellent taste qualities. The leaves of this variety are small, which facilitates care and harvest.

The Picnic variety is suitable for early planting both in open and protected ground. Seeds are sown at a depth of 1-1.5 cm with an optimal planting scheme of 5 x 7 cm. Planting can be done in two periods: spring from early March to early May, and autumn from mid-July to early September. Thanks to its uniform crop yield and high productivity (1.6-2.0 kg per square meter, or 50-65 tons per hectare), this variety is an excellent choice for obtaining early and high-quality radish crops.
