The Bacara eggplant is an early-maturing variety of Italian origin that reaches technical maturity 100-116 days after germination. The plant is compact, with a height ranging from 40 to 58 cm, making it convenient for growing in limited spaces. The fruits have a round shape and a rich purple color, with each fruit weighing between 150 and 200 grams. The flesh is white, dense, and does not contain bitterness, making eggplants of this variety particularly attractive for culinary use.

This variety is characterized by high yield and heat-loving nature, so using seedlings is recommended for successful growing. Seeds are sown in February-March in trays, followed by pricking out seedlings and transplanting into pots or a greenhouse after three weeks. Seedlings are planted in the open ground after the last frost, usually in early May. Before sowing, seeds are recommended to be soaked to improve germination.
