Radish Beauty Of The Moscow Region

Cultivating 'Krasavitsa Podmoskovya' Lobak

Working with the 'Krasavitsa Podmoskovya' variety from the VNIISSOK institute, you get a reliable tool for high-quality Chinese radish production. Unlike standard radish, this variety is classified as lobak, requiring specific handling to ensure the roots reach their optimal size and consistency.

Agronomic performance and management

• Planting Cycles: The variety performs well in both spring and summer sowing cycles. Given the root weight of 150–200 grams, proper plant spacing is critical to ensure each unit develops its signature round-oval shape without overcrowding.
• Product Specs: The bright red skin is visually striking, making it highly marketable. The density of the root is excellent for post-harvest storage.
• Maintenance: From an operational perspective, water management is the key factor. Consistent moisture is essential to prevent the roots from becoming woody or fibrous. It is a robust variety that responds well to standard agricultural practices without requiring complex specialized equipment.

The stability of VNIISSOK seeds is a significant advantage for field planning. 'Krasavitsa Podmoskovya' is a straightforward, productive variety for those who prioritize output quality and market demand. Its resistance to cracking and consistent growth pattern make it a preferred choice for professional growers who value efficiency and predictable results.
