Eggplant MUSHROOM FAN'S DREAM

Predictable yields for open-field operations

Selecting the 'Mechta Gribnika' hybrid for open-field cultivation is a strategic decision focused on consistency and operational control. Developed by a Russian team of breeders including A.V. Aliluev and T.V. Shtainert, this hybrid offers a clear maturity window of 110–120 days from transplanting. This predictability is essential for field management and resource scheduling.

Operational efficiency and planting density

For optimal results, the recommended planting density is 40,000–45,000 plants per hectare. This spacing is calibrated to ensure proper airflow through the canopy, which is vital for disease management and simplifies field maintenance during the growing season. For an operator, this density balance facilitates more efficient machinery access for inter-row cultivation.

Product quality and logistics

The fruit is distinguished by its crisp white color and consistent oval shape. Weighing between 200 and 300 grams, these eggplants are highly uniform, which significantly reduces labor time during harvesting and sorting. The durability of the fruit flesh allows for reliable transport to retail markets, ensuring minimal spoilage and high output quality.

• Maturity: 110–120 days.
• Fruit weight: 200–300 g.
• Shape: Oval.
• Planting density: 40–45k plants/ha.

This variety provides a stable asset for farms looking to optimize their logistics. By focusing on uniformity and field hardiness, 'Mechta Gribnika' allows operators to maintain high standards of produce quality from the field to the point of sale.
