KVASNIKOV'S MEMORY RADISH

"Kvasnikov's Memory" radish is an early-maturing vegetable developed by the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing. This variety is distinguished by its high resistance to low temperatures, low light, flowering, and root softening, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The roots are round or oval with a smooth surface and a characteristic rose-red color with a white lower section. The radish flesh is tender, juicy, and white-pink, providing a pleasant taste and high nutritional value.

The maturity period for this variety is early—27 to 54 days after seedling emergence, allowing for a quick harvest. The average fruit weight is 18 to 23 grams, while the commercial yield reaches approximately 1 kg per square meter. The leaf rosette is medium-sized, upright, with lyrate-lobed green leaves that have sparse, stiff pubescence. The petioles are round, green, and relatively long. The root is partially buried in the soil (two-thirds) or fully, which facilitates easy pulling.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in both spring plastic film greenhouses and open ground during early-spring and spring sowing periods. Due to its resistance to unfavorable conditions and high commercial quality, "Kvasnikov's Memory" is suitable for a wide range of regions.
