Cabbage KONSTANTIYA

Working with Kohlrabi 'Konstantsiya'

For professional vegetable growers, finding a kohlrabi variety that combines high yield with extended shelf life is a constant challenge. The 'Konstantsiya' hybrid from 'Agrofirma Poisk' is a top-tier choice for those targeting the fresh market with long-term supply capabilities. This hybrid exhibits highly predictable growth patterns, which is essential for efficient crop management.

Disease Resistance and Field Health

Fusarium wilt and bacterial blight are major threats to brassica crops. 'Konstantsiya' shows strong genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt. Practically, this means reduced pressure from disease and fewer fungicide applications, which cuts production costs and chemical reliance. The plant structure is robust, with leaf coverage that protects the stem bulb from heat stress and pests.

Storage and Marketability

The standout feature of 'Konstantsiya' is its incredible shelf life of 8-10 months. This allows producers to bypass the seasonal price drops after harvest and supply the market when demand is higher. The stem bulb remains firm, succulent, and visually appealing throughout the storage period, meeting the high standards required by retail chains.

• Usage: Excellent for both the fresh market and industrial processing.
• Consistency: A reliable hybrid from 'Agrofirma Poisk' that performs consistently under standard agrotechnical conditions.
• Efficiency: Uniform stem bulbs significantly speed up mechanized harvesting and post-harvest grading.
