CONFETKA

The 'Confetka' pumpkin variety is a mid-season, high-yielding table variety widely used in home vegetable gardening. The plant forms long vines about 1.5 meters long with sturdy stems and can produce from 2 to 8 fruits per bush. This variety is distinguished by its high cold tolerance and adaptability to growing conditions, making it convenient for various climate zones. The fruits of the 'Confetka' pumpkin have an oval, weakly ribbed, and segmented shape with a red-orange color and a unique pattern in the form of green spots. The average fruit weight ranges from 1.2 to 3 kg; they have a dense, thin, and smooth skin that is easy to cut. The flesh is bright orange, juicy, crunchy, and uniform, with a high sugar content (7–8%) and dry matter (up to 20%), giving it an especially sweet and soft taste. Due to the significant content of ascorbic acid and carotene, the fruits are not only tasty but also nutritious.

The ripening period of the 'Confetka' pumpkin is 115 to 138 days after the appearance of seedlings. The fruits withstand transportation and long-term storage well, without losing their market and taste qualities. This variety is considered the standard for preparing baby food without added sugar and is suitable for various culinary purposes thanks to its juicy and sweet flesh.
