This variety is late-maturing, with a growing season from 125 to 136 days, and is characterized by high yield — up to 10-11 kg per bush or 35-48 tons per hectare. Muskatnaya pumpkin grows well in sunny places, preferring slopes, and has high resistance to diseases when agricultural technology is observed. The plant is heat-loving but frost-resistant in certain zones. The variety is self-fruiting, which facilitates its cultivation both at home and in commercial gardening.

Muskatnaya pumpkin is versatile in use: puree, juices, porridge are prepared from it, baked in the oven, used for first and second courses, as well as in confectionery and dietetic foods.
