Tiana

Tiana F1 is an early muscat-type hybrid pumpkin developed by the Dutch breeders of the company Enza Zaden. The plant is climbing, of medium growth, with small leaves, forming 3 to 5 fruits depending on growing conditions. The vegetation period is 90-100 days from germination, allowing early harvest. The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, which increases its reliability and reduces the risk of losses during cultivation.

The fruits of Tiana pumpkin have a butternut-type pear-shaped form with portion-sized size and a small seed cavity. Fruit weight varies from 0.5 to 1.5 kg, and they are characterized by evenness and an attractive mustard-orange rind color. The flesh is bright orange, juicy, sweet, and tasty, retaining its flavor and texture for a long time. The rind is not too thick, which facilitates processing and preparation.

This hybrid is ideal for both fresh marketing and processing into juices or purees. Tiana pumpkin stores well during winter and has high marketability, making it attractive to consumers. The fruits are easy to transport, ensuring product preservation and quality during delivery.
