Pumpkin Muskat De Luxe

Technical Profile of «Muscat De Luxe» Squash

The «Muscat De Luxe» variety by «Svitiaz» is a prime example of breeding focused on intensive sugar accumulation and the development of a dense, fiber-free flesh structure. From a technical standpoint, this hybrid is a product of trait stabilization, where priority is given to the ratio of fruit mass to the size of the seed cavity.

Fruit Morphological Features

A fruit mass in the 5-8 kg range is the optimal indicator for open-field agrotechnics. This weight allows the plant to distribute nutrients effectively without overloading the root system. The rounded shape ensures uniform solar heating of the fruit, which is critical for the synthesis of carotenoids and the formation of the characteristic nutmeg aroma.

Agrotechnical Storage Potential

The key engineering feature of this variety is its shelf life. Due to the thick epidermis and high density of the intercellular space in the mesocarp, the «Muscat De Luxe» fruit demonstrates high resistance to microbiological damage during winter storage. Unlike large-fruited table varieties, this hybrid retains its turgor and flavor profile for an extended period after harvest.

• Biochemistry: High content of dry matter and sugars, ensuring superior storage durability.
• Harvesting Technology: The rounded configuration minimizes the risk of damage during transport.
• Gastronomic Basis: The lack of voids and fibrous tissue makes the fruit suitable for industrial processing and long-term storage without compromising structural integrity.
