DANKA POLKA PUMPKIN

The Danka Polka pumpkin variety is a mid-early, multi-seeded variety with a vegetative period of about 100-110 days from seedling emergence. The plant is moderately twining, with dissected or smooth leaves of medium size, distinguished by high productivity and unpretentiousness to growing conditions. Danka Polka fruits have an oval-flat shape and an average weight of 2.5 to 3.5 kg. The fruit skin is dense, colored in orange-green or gray-green hue with a marble or striped pattern. The flesh is starchy, of medium density, sometimes light pink in color, possesses high taste qualities and stores well. Inside the fruits there are a large number of large white oval seeds, which easily separate from the flesh and are valued for their excellent taste.

The main purpose of the variety is seed production, which is used for sowing and feeding animals. Danka Polka is one of the most productive varieties for seed production, with a yield of 700 to 1200 kg per hectare. Due to its characteristics and resistance to growing conditions, this variety is widely used in open ground and is valued for its high efficiency and product quality.
