EKADA 282 is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a medium-maturing vegetative period, ranging from 76 to 88 days depending on the cultivation region. The plant is medium-height, with a semi-erect or erect stem and a cylindrical spike of medium density, white in color. The grain is colored, ovoid, or with a colored kernel; the mass of 1000 grains varies from 30 to 46 grams, indicating large and uniform grain size. The awn is weakly developed, with a strong waxy coating on the spike and upper internode, which increases resistance to lodging.

The variety is characterized by high drought tolerance, which is above average, and medium resistance to lodging. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Urals, the Far East, Orenburg region, and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The average yield of the variety reaches about 23 centners per hectare, exceeding the average indicators of standard varieties. EKADA 282 possesses good baking qualities, making it valuable for the production of quality flour and baked goods.

The variety exhibits resistance to certain diseases, is weakly affected by septoria, however, it is susceptible to powdery bunt.
