JANNA potato variety is a medium-early Russian variety with a maturation period of 65 to 80 days. The plant is of medium height, semi-erect, with large green leaves and blue-purple flowers. Tubers are oval-round in shape, with smooth yellow skin and light-yellow flesh containing 14.8 to 19.0% starch. Marketable tuber weight varies from 94 to 140 grams, with 7 to 12 tubers per plant. The variety's marketability reaches 74-98%, and storability is 92%, ensuring good storage of the harvest.

The yield of the JANNA variety is high and stable, averaging 183 to 325 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 513 centners. The potato is suitable for both table use and processing into potato products. Its culinary type CD makes it versatile for various preparation methods, including boiling, baking, and making mashed potatoes. Taste qualities are rated as good to excellent, making the variety attractive to consumers.

The variety exhibits resistance to potato cyst nematode, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. However, it is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode and moderately susceptible to late blight of foliage and tubers. Recommended for cultivation in the Central and Volga regions on open ground, sown in May at a depth of 8-10 cm and with a spacing of 60 x 35 cm.
