Potato Tiger

Tiger Potato: Excellence from Dutch Breeding

The global potato market sets high standards for quality, consistency, and visual appeal. The Tiger hybrid, developed by Ipr in collaboration with renowned entities like Hzpc and Swisssem, stands as a premier choice for growers focused on the fresh market segment. Originating from the Netherlands, this variety combines advanced genetic potential with the robustness required for modern intensive agriculture.

Agronomic Profile and Market Positioning

Designed primarily for retail supply, Tiger is distinguished by its excellent tuber uniformity and skin quality. Unlike processing-oriented varieties, the focus here is on the culinary experience and shelf appeal. Key characteristics include:

• Retail Readiness: Superior tuber shape and size distribution, minimizing waste during packaging.
• High Market Value: The variety meets the strict criteria set by modern supermarkets for high-quality fresh produce.
• Reliable Pedigree: As a collaboration between Ipr, Hzpc Ipr B.V, and Hzpc Uk, the variety benefits from decades of Dutch breeding excellence.

For commercial growers, Tiger represents a strategic asset. It responds well to professional cultivation management and is engineered to deliver a consistent, marketable harvest. It is a variety that bridges the gap between high-yield requirements and the aesthetic demands of the end consumer.

Why Choose Tiger?

In a competitive landscape, the success of a potato variety depends on its ability to satisfy both the farmer and the shopper. Tiger ensures that the end product is visually attractive, uniform, and suitable for a wide range of culinary uses. By selecting genetics managed by Ipr and Hzpc, producers invest in a reliable solution for the fresh market, backed by strong expertise and established quality standards in the international agricultural community.
