Description TRIPLE7
Potato variety TRIPLE7 is a medium-maturing type, primarily intended for chip production. It features medium-sized oval-round tubers with yellow skin and light-yellow flesh. Starch content in tubers ranges from 16 to 19.1%, and dry matter content reaches 24.8%, ensuring high quality raw material for processing. The variety has low sugar content, positively affecting taste and final product quality.

TRIPLE7 has high commercial yield, ranging from 190 to 421 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 663 centners. The variety’s commercial value is 85.5%, and storability reaches 94%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss. Plants are tall, intermediate in type, with upright or semi-upright growth, facilitating ease of cultivation and harvest.

The variety shows resistance to several diseases, including potato blight and golden potato cyst nematode, and has enhanced drought tolerance. However, it exhibits low resistance to scab and late blight. TRIPLE7 is included in the State Register for the Northwestern, Central, and Central Chernozem regions, confirming its adaptability to various climatic conditions and agronomic requirements.
