The yield of this variety is at the standard level of 'Roko', ranging from 122 to 202 centners per hectare, with maximum yield reaching 387 centners per hectare, which is 78 centners higher than the standard 'Aurora'. Tubers have high marketability, 88-94%, and storability reaches 93%. 'May Flower' potato has good to excellent taste, belongs to culinary type C, making it versatile for various cooking methods, including baking, boiling, and making mash.
The variety shows resistance to potato cancer pathogen (pathotype I), crinkly mosaic, and leaf curling. However, it is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode. According to data from the All-Russian Research Institute of Phytopathology, 'May Flower' has moderate resistance to late blight both in foliage and tubers. The drought tolerance of the variety allows successful cultivation under various climatic conditions, making it attractive for agricultural production.
