Aston Sunflower is a mid-early simple hybrid with a vegetation period of about 108 days, developed by the Ukrainian company ART-AGRO. This hybrid is specifically adapted for cultivation using the Express technology with the herbicide Granstar, which ensures effective weed control and optimal growing conditions for plants. Plant height reaches approximately 165 cm, and the flower head diameter is 20-22 cm, which promotes good yield formation.

The Aston hybrid is characterized by high stability and adaptability to conditions in central regions of Ukraine. It possesses very high drought resistance and resistance to new races of downy mildew (Phytophthora) with resistance level A-G, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Seeds are treated with fungicides carbendazim and metalaxyl-M, which enhances protection against diseases and promotes healthy plant growth. Initial growth energy and resistance to lodging, as well as tolerance to diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, white and gray rot, powdery mildew, are at a high level, ensuring the hybrid's reliability under various stress conditions.

The potential yield of the Aston sunflower reaches 58 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching up to 55%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. Seeds are packaged at 150,000 per bag, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2-2.5 hectares. Due to its characteristics and resistance, the Aston hybrid is an optimal choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high and stable sunflower yield with high oil content.
