Sunflower Absolyut

Stable yields even under stress

Working with the Absolut sunflower hybrid from KWS makes it clear why German breeding is considered the standard of reliability. Whether stepping into a field after prolonged rains or during the peak of a summer drought, this hybrid delivers the exact resilience you expect from a premium product. The main argument for Absolut is its phenomenal resistance to pathogens. While neighboring fields might start showing signs of Phomopsis or Septoria, this sunflower stays green and healthy right up to harvest.

Field-Proven Agronomic Benefits

• Comprehensive Immune System: Forget about endless fungicide applications against Helminthosporium or powdery mildew. The genetic potential of Absolut allows for significant savings on crop protection, which is vital given current input costs.
• Stalk and Head Health: Resistance to Cercosporella and Fusarium eliminates lodging issues. Even with high planting density, plants develop uniformly, forming heavy, well-filled heads.
• Predictability: Phomopsis and Phoma, which often arrive as unpleasant surprises late in the season, bypass this hybrid. This allows for stress-free harvest planning with minimal yield losses.

For a farmer, this translates to one thing: predictable profitability. Absolut doesn't demand overly complex agricultural practices; it is forgiving of minor timing errors and shows excellent emergence vigor. In today’s market, where every centner counts, this KWS hybrid is a dependable workhorse you can rely on when planning your crop rotation.
