Potato variety Ladoshsky is a medium-maturing table variety of Russian selection with a vegetation period of 80-95 days. The plant has low or medium height, semi-erect leaf type, light green color with weak wavy edges. The flower crown is very large and white. Tubers are oval-round in shape with medium-depth eyes, smooth and yellow skin, and white flesh. The mass of marketable tubers ranges from 99 to 378 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 10-14 pieces.

Ladoshsky variety is characterized by high market yield, ranging from 195 to 422 centners per hectare, with a maximum of 474 centners. The yield of this variety is 38-128 centners higher compared to the standards of Petersburg and Lugovskaya. Starch content in tubers ranges from 11.3-15.9%, ensuring good taste quality and versatility in culinary use. The potato is suitable for frying, boiling, and baking, belongs to the culinary type BC. Marketability of tubers is 85-98%, and storability reaches 96%, indicating good storage durability.

Ladoshsky exhibits resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode. According to phytopathological studies, the variety is moderately susceptible to late blight on foliage and moderately resistant on tubers. Preferred growing regions include the Northwestern, Central, and Volga regions of Russia. The breeder of this variety is JSC 'Vsevolozhskaya Selection Station'.
