Sunflower MIUSSKIY

Yield stability under pathogen pressure

Choosing the right sunflower hybrid is a strategic decision for any farm. The "Miussskiy" variety, developed by Ooo Npo Triumf, is designed to perform in conditions where disease pressure is high, allowing agronomists to rely on genetic resilience rather than intensive fungicide spray programs. In practice, this means reduced production costs and a more predictable outcome at harvest time.

Field performance and disease resistance

The main advantage of "Miussskiy" lies in its complex immunity. Its resistance to downy mildew ensures that the crop maintains an optimal stand density from emergence to harvest. Furthermore, its performance against Phomopsis and Phoma is noteworthy: even in humid years when these fungal infections typically devastate fields, this hybrid maintains the integrity of its black seeds and sustains high oil content.

• Inherent defense: High tolerance to powdery mildew helps preserve the canopy, which is crucial for filling the seed.
• Agronomic value: The seeds are well-developed, allowing for precise seeding rates and lower seed waste.
• Harvest efficiency: Due to strong stem health and resistance to Phoma, the crop does not lodge, ensuring smooth combine operation.

The variety is backed by the expertise of Alexander and Dmitry Nazarov at Ooo Npo Triumf, focusing on practical adaptability. Whether you are managing large acreage or smaller plots, the response to standard fertilizers is consistent and manageable. "Miussskiy" is a dependable choice for operators looking to balance productivity with a low-maintenance approach to field management.
