Assol

Potato variety ASSOL is an early-maturing, high-yielding table variety that adapts well to various climatic conditions. The plants of this variety are upright and semi-spreading, which facilitates care and harvest. Tubers have oval or elongated-oval shape, even and smooth, with light skin and surface eyes. The flesh is light-yellow, giving it an attractive appearance and good taste.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to late blight, viral diseases, and nematodes, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield even under unfavorable growing conditions. The yield in the first year may reach up to 742 grams per plant. Due to its low maintenance requirements, ASSOL is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones, making it a universal choice for farmers and gardeners.

For planting, it is recommended to use pre-soaked and slightly sprouted seeds, which have undergone pre-cooling with variable temperatures. Seed sowing for seedlings is conducted in March–April, and transplanting into open ground occurs approximately in the third decade of May after the end of frost. The optimal planting scheme is 60x20 or 70x35 cm. Harvesting usually takes place at the end of August–beginning of September, allowing for early and high-quality produce.
