EURO BRAVUS

The hybrid sunflower Bravo, developed by Sun Expert, is a medium-early variety with a vegetation period of 108 to 113 days. This hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance and is intended for cultivation in southern and south-eastern regions, including steppe and southern-steppe zones of Ukraine, where water shortage is common. Plant height reaches 185-195 cm, and Bravo is not prone to lodging and shattering, ensuring stable yield.

Bravo has a high yield potential of up to 54 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 48 to 50%. The hybrid is resistant to a wide range of diseases, including white and gray mold (90%), fomopsis, fomosis, alternaria, septoria (80%), as well as powdery mildew and rust (70%). It also shows strong resistance to pests such as the five races of the cutworm (A–E). Thanks to these characteristics, Bravo ensures a reliable and high-quality harvest even under challenging climatic conditions.

The sunflower Bravo is recommended for cultivation using the Clearfield technology (Euro-Lightning), which enables effective use of herbicides for weed control. Sowing rate depends on soil moisture levels: 58-63 thousand seeds per hectare in well-watered areas, and 48-53 thousand in dry zones. Seed planting depth varies from 3-5 cm on heavy soils to 5-6 cm on light soils. Fertilizer and herbicide application should follow the Clearfield technology, promoting maximum productivity and crop resilience.
