The «Pamyat Khasanova» Plum: Breeding Excellence

The «Pamyat Khasanova» plum variety represents a legacy of targeted selection, designed to offer consistency and resilience in temperate climate zones. As a member of the domestic plum (Prunus domestica) category, this variety has established a reputation as a dependable choice for growers prioritizing both low maintenance and reliable yields.

Disease and Pest Resistance

The primary value proposition of this variety lies in its natural field resistance to common pathogens and pests. In intensive orchard settings, where disease pressure can be significant, «Pamyat Khasanova» performs impressively due to the following traits:

• High resistance to shot-hole disease (clasterosporium), which reduces the need for intensive fungicide programs.
• Inherent resistance to plum aphids, ensuring healthy leaf surface area throughout the vegetative cycle.
• Low susceptibility to plum sawfly, which directly safeguards harvest quality and volume.

These biological assets make the variety an optimal choice for orchards aiming to minimize pesticide inputs. The tree adapts well to temperature fluctuations, a quality validated by years of cultivation across various regions.

Market Positioning

Categorized under the domestic plum group, «Pamyat Khasanova» upholds traditional organoleptic standards while offering modern advantages. Producers value the variety for its predictability: the tree habit is conducive to canopy management and harvesting, while the ripening schedule allows for efficient logistics. For those seeking a low-intervention variety with consistently high-quality results, this plum is a reliable asset for any orchard portfolio.
