The tree is medium-sized, reaching up to 3.5 meters in height. The fruits of this variety are very large, weighing from 80 to 120 grams, with dark red skin adorned with small yellow spots. The flesh is sweet, juicy, and firm, with a yellow hue, and the pit separates easily from the flesh. Tasters rate the flavor of the fruits 4.5 out of 5, indicating high quality and pleasant taste.

The Fortune variety is early-ripening; harvest occurs from the second half of July to early August. Fruit production begins as early as the 2nd or 3rd year after planting. This plum is self-incompatible, so for successful pollination, it is recommended to plant compatible pollinator varieties with similar blooming times, such as Santa Rosa or Priar. The tree prefers well-lit areas protected from wind, as well as neutral or slightly acidic, medium-textured soils. Watering should be moderate, avoiding overwatering or waterlogging.
