Erlikvin — an early plum variety from diploid selection Zaiger Genetics (USA), distinguished by high yield and fruit quality. A medium-growth tree, cold-hardy, begins fruiting as early as the 2nd-3rd year after planting. The variety is characterized by rapid fruiting and low maintenance requirements, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. For pollination, the best varieties are Santa Rosa, Black Diamond, and Black Amber.

The fruits of Erlikvin are large, weighing 50–80 grams, sometimes up to 100 grams, round in shape with dark blue or purplish-red coloration, covered with a grayish bloom. They ripen very early — in late July — making this variety one of the best early plum varieties in Europe. The flesh is tender, firm, medium-juicy, marzipan-like, with a pleasant sweet flavor practically free of acidity. The pit is small and partially separates.

The Erlikvin variety is characterized by high resistance to major plum diseases, ensuring stable yields and prolonged fruit storage after harvest — up to 10–20 days. The tree has a structure, branch form, and foliage similar to common plum, and its rootstock is plum. Due to its characteristics, Erlikvin is ideal for early commercial cultivation and consumption of fresh fruit.
