Zukhra – a mid-season dessert persimmon variety, characterized by large fruit units with a rounded crown and a medium growth rate. The fruits have a flattened shape, a square cross-section, and an average mass of about 160 g. The skin is dense, smooth, slightly covered with a bloom, and the main color is orange-red.
The fruit pulp is yellow-orange, juicy, and sweet, as confirmed by a taste rating of 4.9 points. Sugar content reaches 20%, while vitamin C is 14.5 mg per 100 g of product. The average yield is approximately 80 c/ha, and fruiting occurs annually.
The transportability of the fruits is good due to the dense skin, which ensures preservation during transport. The tree is resistant to diseases and pests, and also withstands drought and heat conditions with high endurance. These properties make the Zukhra variety suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions and convenient for commercial cultivation.
