YELLOW BELL

Yellow Bell — a mid-early maturing sweet pepper variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The period from germination to technical maturity is approximately 125-135 days. Seed sowing is recommended in February, while transplanting into the ground should be done at the end of May or mid-June, following a 35x50 cm spacing. Plants of this variety are decorative, medium-spreading, reaching a height of 70-80 cm, which ensures ease of care and harvesting.

The fruits of this variety have a prism-shaped or cuboid form with three to four sides, measuring 11-13 cm in length and weighing between 110 to 190 g. At technical maturity, they are green, but at biological maturity, they turn bright yellow or golden-yellow with a strong gloss. The fruit walls are 8-10 mm thick, making them juicy and succulent. Thanks to these characteristics, the pepper is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for all forms of processing.

The variety is distinguished by high yield and good resistance to diseases, particularly tobacco mosaic virus and potato virus. The prolonged fruiting period allows harvesting over several months — from July to September.
