Sharm

Sharm pepper is a medium-maturing variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of 55-65 cm, with a compact bush shape. The fruits are large, cylindrical, ribbed, and glossy. In technical ripeness, they are green, while in biological ripeness, they turn deep red. Fruit mass ranges from 120-150 g, with wall thickness reaching 5-6 mm. The flavor is mildly spicy with a distinct peppery aroma, giving them an elegant and spicy character. The variety is characterized by high yield and large fruit size, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers. Due to its excellent taste qualities, Sharm pepper is widely used in cooking: it is ideal for preparing spicy salads, vegetable assortments, canning, as well as for creating seasonings and sauces. The plant is resistant to diseases and drought, simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. For successful cultivation of Sharm pepper, adequate lighting and timely watering are required. The harvesting period falls in August–October, allowing for prolonged enjoyment of fresh fruits.
