Sweet pepper variety 'Knyaz Serebryany' is an early and mid-early variety intended for cultivation in open ground as well as in greenhouses. The maturation period ranges from 105 to 115 days from germination to harvest, allowing fruit collection as early as July-August. The plant reaches a height of 50-70 cm and features a medium-sized bush. The fruits have a hanging conical shape with a smooth, slightly ribbed surface. In technical ripeness, they are light cream-colored, while in biological ripeness, they are vivid red. The fruit wall thickness is 6-7 mm, and the weight varies from 95 to 110 grams. The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 23-26 tons per hectare, and resistance to diseases, particularly tobacco mosaic virus, which significantly simplifies care and reduces crop losses. The plant prefers light to medium loamy soils enriched with compost or well-rotted manure and requires regular and timely watering with mandatory soil loosening to prevent compaction. Agronomically, the variety is recommended to be sown between March 10 and March 20, and seedlings should be transplanted between May 10 and May 20 with row spacing of 60 cm by 40-50 cm. Harvesting occurs from late July to late August.
