Description Monaco
Monaco pepper is a medium-maturing sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) intended for cultivation under plastic coverings in private gardens. The plant is semi-spreading, medium height, with cylindrical, ribbed, glossy fruits. In technical ripeness, the fruits are greenish-white, and in biological ripeness — yellow. The average fruit weight is about 250 grams, and the wall thickness reaches 9 mm. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and provides a marketable yield of up to 7 kg per square meter. Monaco pepper is recommended for fresh consumption, home cooking, and preservation.
